Measles is one of the most contagious viruses on earth. In the 60's 1 out of ~400 children died. 1 out of 100 became deaf or worse. When I was 5, I was one of those unlucky ones. I have partial loss of hearing and ring in my ears since then. I don't know what silence is. It is a HORRIBLE disease.
