Because, sadly, that’s exactly what it is. Americans are begging for leadership but the best we could hope for is for Democrats to hold the line…. and they couldn’t even do that.

Schumer’s “no” is political theater. He’s letting Kaine et al betray the country.

Hold the line. Your constituents know that the shutdown is necessary for the longterm survival of their health care. “Promising a vote” and “Protecting the ACA” are *NOT* the same thing.
