Upper street has always been a really nice place. Good indy shops. Used to also have one of the best fish and chip shops next to the church. Sadly closed in the early 90s. For a while I think it became a nandos. No idea if it still is....

Blue LEDs were really hard to make and get right. I think it was veritasium did a video on it and white LEDs
