... actually I'm a Generic Pantheist .. I had read the book "Life after Life" by Raymond Moody, but I just filed that away intellectually.

If Hilton had a policy of allowing managers to satisfy any claim on the spot with a check up to $10K or $15K, that certainly would have served them well in this case. Instead of $100K, if they'd offered $7500 or $8000 we'd have taken that with gusto and thanks, instead of leaving with a very sour ..
