Oh its definitely a sales thing. Need a big release every year to keep sales high.

Personally I hope The Old World gets upgraded to big game status, so ALL of them can go to a 4 year schedules. The 3 year schedule feels REALLY rushed, but by about 2 years in the games really hit their stride, so if it was a 4 year schedule then thats 2 solid good years.
