Would have liked to see this TRO nationwide - but perhaps other states will join or file their own suits to get similar relief.

Schools will feel the pain right away. There will be an urgent need to resolve the crisis. Cutting all grants overnight will have serious effects on everyday parents and children across the US.

But… they are laws. Let’s not pretend that a president is omnipotent and can “suspend” laws. To even suggest as much gives POTUS more power than he has. It’s like asking if the president should appoint more members to the S CT. Sure some people may say yes, but it’s meaningless w/o laws changing
