feel for Rasheed, I really do. But. He’s the one who chose not to tell the truth. I understand that I will never understand the “rules” of the street or what that life is like for a young black man. I’m not even going to pretend that I do. He still chose those rules over his girl and unborn child.

For instance, Michael had better accept that Ivy deserves to have her own life. It’s insane that he is threatening her because he doesn’t want to be alone. That’s not love, that’s abuse. Run free, Ivy. Run free.
