I finally got my hands on a paperback copy of Bleeding for the Job, my collab with my buddy Joe Ortlieb! It looks pretty good, Joe did an awesome job putting this together!
From the minds of Matthew Vaughn and Joe Ortlieb comes a brutal tale of a 10 hour shift from hell.

It's officially summer now, and I know readers are going to be looking for those beach reads. This is the perfect time to read my book, The Survivors!

The real monsters on this island are the ones stranded there.
Also, repping that @doomfiction!

Books and Breakfast
Currently, I'm reading Sierra Waff's I'll Prey For You. It's a violent, splatterpunk revenge story. I'm a little more than halfway through and am enjoying it quite a bit.
A good breakfast and a good read make for a nice Saturday morning.

We've got some reviews in for Joe Ortlieb and I's collaboration, Bleeding for the Job. It's great to see people enjoying this little book. If you're interested in reading about co-workers battling to the death over one night's shift, maybe you'll enjoy it too!

I listened to the audiobook of Rejection by Tony Tulathimutte. This was my first book from him, it was great! Funny and weird, these stories feature some really quirky and some really terrible people.

Godless needs our help! They've been dealing with scammers and fraudulent purchases! If you've been considering purchasing from their website, now would be a great time. Here are 3 cheap, quick reads I have there. If you like weird stories with a lot of gore! Use paypal! godless.com/search?q=Mat...

It's Pride month, what better way to celebrate than by reading some super weird and crazy stories about everyone's favorite bisexual zombie, Uncle Frank!
This was one of the funnest projects I've ever been involved in.

I had the paperback of the third Bowery book, Cattle Drive, available only through my online store. Well, I've decided to just put it on Amazon with the rest of my books. So, now you can get the paperback of Cattle Drive on either Amazon or my online store!

I've seen lots of people talking about John Williams Stoner. Everyone seems to love this book. I recently listened to the audiobook, and I'd have to agree with what others have said, this book was fantastic!
John Williams penned an iconic tale with superb narration by Robin Fields.

I read Douglas Coupland's The Gum Thief. I really enjoyed this. It's written in an epistolary style, with multiple people writing entries in a notebook and letters to each other.
I'd probably rate it more toward the top of the books of his I've read.

Vile Confection by Risshan Adele. Our MC Violet has some extremely horrendous things done to her, but our heroine takes matters into her own hands. Risshan did an excellent job crafting believable characters, and her depictions of gore and violence were spot on!

100 years old today, and still a banger! I love F. Scott Fitzgerald's work, and as much as I've read, there's still a lot I haven't read. But, I've read Gatsby a couple of times, and it gets better each time.
The only version I have is in this huge collection my wife got me a few years ago.

Women in Horror Month
The Adventures of Titty Tater and Baby Gravy, co-authored by Chisto Healy. An over the top, hilarious, sci-fi, bizarro adventure through a particularly nasty outer space. I had a blast reading this!

Women in Horror Month

I read 2 YM Miller books this month.
First up was Fuck Cancer. This was a hilarious, bizarro story.
Then, I read You're Going to Die Here, which I have pictured. This story was brutal!

My February wrap up.
1 book, Micah Castle's The Women Without Eyes, the best book I've read this year so far. 3 audiobooks, Jay McInerney's Bright, Precious Days. I thoroughly enjoyed that whole trilogy.
I really enjoyed Allegedly by Tiffany D Jackson as well as Gone Tomorrow by Gary Indiana.

I finished The Women Without Eyes by Micah Castle, and its the best book I've read this year.
Part detective thriller, part cosmic horror. This story is chilling, dark, and pulls no punches. His writing is on another level with this one.

Books and Breakfast
I discovered this author on substack, talking about how he wrote all through his years of having a heroin addiction. If you know me, you know I'm a sucker for some good misery porn.
I made myself some scrambled eggs and chocolate milk for breakfast.

Last year I listened to two Sayaka Murata books, Earthlings and Convenient Store Woman. I didn't love either one of them, but I didn't hate them. More importantly, I still think about them, so that should say something.

Anyone else feel strongly about these books, or this author in general?
