Oop- and apologies for not saying first- beautiful sock and highest praise when the husband wants to steal them :)

I'm afraid of socks and I am a (very) primary knitter. I typically crochet. Any fantastic (made for the ultra beginner) tutorial suggestions for socks- or knitting, in general?

I am so terribly out of the loop and thought all of the news about the upcoming "Onyx Storm" was this artic snow that was heading across TX, LA, GA, etc. Just figured it all out yesterday. Also, isn't the library the best (I bet they'll pick up more copies as soon as they are able).

Project Hail Mary- great sci-fi book for the non sci-fi reader. Read it before the movie comes out- the book is always better.
