Came home to a murder this afternoon. Feathers everywhere and a wattlebird calling out at me in alarm. We have a lot of roaming cats in the neighbourhood, so that was the prime suspect... until this chap appeared. Apparently its a sparrowhawk.

Bought a big cabbage yesterday. So far I’ve put it in a dauphinois, noodle soup and a simple coleslaw. Going to make a crispy noodle salad with it tonight.
