We cohost a neighborhood party every year the saturday before Halloween. Multiple fire pits in the street, tables of food and drinks, my son and a bunch of friends running around in the woods, neighbors hanging outside until 11 socializing. It’s so fun!

I had an aunt that I didn't find out until well into adulthood was actually not a blood relative at all. Her and her husband (he died when I was quite young, my middle name is after him) were just close friends of my grandparents. She lived forever and was funny until the end.
