Why would it collapse just because the operator took off the headset though? Why would they design anything to collapse when you turn it off? It sounds a little theatric.

That's insane because that's the best thing about Spotify and the only thing I'll miss about using it. I wish I was more shocked that a shitty company wouldn't be good to their contributors.

Since when is "making enough money to live" what career means? Learn to use your words better and stop drinking coffee you don't make yourself if you don't appreciate the service they're providing you.

Absolutely. In fact I think a lot of folks' reaction was not only that it was an acceptable loss, but the expectation of exponential growth in numbers 🙂

I think it makes it more interesting that Syndrome's motivation wasn't money, morality, or even public safety, it was solely disdain for the special treatment and idolatry of supers. He didn't want non-regulation, he just didn't want powers to give the elite few that have them extra privilege/status

I don't think they use it these days but one of the employee slogans was "bleed green." They're intense about it. Or were, its more laid back these days, at least at my store.

I've worked retail my whole life and I've never worked anywhere that didn't have the 10ft rule. There's no way this is new. They probably got lax about it during covid and now they're trying to work it back into the norm.

The countdown to release lined up with the minute I was scheduled to clock out. Listened to the first half on the way home and the second half on my way in today, loved it, would listen again (and will.)

For them saving lives for hundreds or thousands or even changing entire communities for the better is as simple as waving their hand and telling someone to make it happen, and they would never feel the loss of finances it cost - and yet they choose not to.

It's not a universal truth and every situation is different but treating a child like they're a full human being with their own autonomy and valid thoughts teaches them to treat others that way and builds confidence in themselves.

The issue with this kind of stuff is that you're looking down your nose at one of the few traits that some of your allies, friends, and families might share with that nazi. It's showing them what you truly think of people with that trait.
