Strikers has such a dumb fun gimmick - It's a straight-ish military shmup like 1942 for most of the level, but then the boss isn't just a big tank or a big battleship, it has to transform into a big wacky mecha. I love it every time.

IMO, the QoL features went too far and destroyed the balance and intent of the game. DQ3 on SNES was the JRPG that made me understand JRPGs, and so many of the things I loved were tarnished in the new one. They also ruined Romaria

Castlevania was doing some special stuff back then, and I think we lost some of that when the franchise changed after Symphony of the Night.
And EDF6 is the best EDF, but it should still be played after EDF5 anyway.
