A few have gone in and he’s not been where you’d expect a 9 to be. All the talk of him not being one and Howe not playing a 10 (yet) makes you wonder where he fits. No doubt he’s got quality.

Can’t subscribe to it being an embarrassment.

So over the top

I actually said I was pleased. Where did I lose you?
December 30, 2025 at 10:50 PM
I’m not upset.

Before! He was very complimentary about Mileys ability to knuckle down and adapt.

Don’t have a lot of love for the 90s footballers telling the modern lot they don’t work hard enough, but it was a good segment.

Where are your facts? I only see your opinions
December 30, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Really enjoyed (for once) Roy Keane’s assessment of him playing out of position as a positive. Likened it to his time at Forest early on, playing right back, focussing him.

Miley is an incredible footballer.

I said I was pleased. I didn’t say you had to be.

Points are scarce in the league. Feel free to be annoyed at another 3
December 30, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Think you take tonight against the backdrop. Points have to mean something.

Was pleased to see us not surrender again. Felt like at one point we might be the team Burnley have their moment against. Onto the next

He’s been really good lol. Beat his man for the Saka goal and has barely lost it ..

“This is your Coutinho moment”

Bids less than they got for him 6 years later.
August 23, 2025 at 1:13 PM
I think unsettling him was part of your strategy, which is why you waited so long between briefing you were willing to bid and then bidding.

In the gap, he went on strike.

In our shoes I think you’d be raging. You did burn Trent’s shirt, after all (and he kept playing!)
August 21, 2025 at 6:44 PM
I think when bids are made it’s fairly well known, no? If you think briefing the press you might bid is the same as actually bidding I can’t help you. We just disagree.

Every journalist in football is on this. Ours are because it’s a big story. You choosing what you read as much as any of us.
August 21, 2025 at 6:22 PM
What unsettled Wissa was a bid. What unsettled Isak was briefing the press you’d be willing to bid. This is the difference.

There’s no ethics in football and it’s a small difference, but it’s a difference. At least officially we bid. You took weeks.

Would gladly move on from both Isak and Wissa.

Just had this exact feeling. We need a support group
August 20, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Magnificent.

“We don’t foresee those conditions being met” as its own line is 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
August 19, 2025 at 11:02 PM
A negotiation position. “Club would have explored sale” here demonstrates what we all suspected - we were looking for replacements.

Unfortunately, your boy has acted like a rat so they’ll hold firm.

See you all on Monday
August 19, 2025 at 10:26 PM
You need to turn yourself off and on again. You’re stuck.
August 19, 2025 at 10:01 PM
We can’t do ALL the work for you.
August 19, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Or find the number by continuing to bid? We’d won’t communicate a number, because we want you to go as high as possible. What if we say 121 and you would have gone to 140?

It’s what you have to do sometimes when the selling club holds the cards.
August 19, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Clearly more than you have bid so far. This really isn’t hard.
August 19, 2025 at 9:32 PM
The why would the original post say the only reason he’s not a Liverpool player is because we can’t get replacements? You all go round in circles

There’s clearly no way back for him and “not for sale” = we won’t be forced into settling for a lower cost.

Pay up, essentially. It’s a negotiation
August 19, 2025 at 9:13 PM
You always leave out the bit where you don’t bid enough to get us to sell. You want both players but don’t wanna pay for the second one. That’s the impasse.
August 19, 2025 at 9:05 PM
Plus we give 10% to Sociedad above what we paid so there’s that to factor in.

God knows what PSR looks like in 12 months too.

I’d prefer to sell him this window and have it done with but seeing #lfc all over the timeline suggesting he should be “freed” is tiring. He signed a 6 year deal
