🚨 Health Inequality: People with a learning disability face a higher cancer risk (esp. before 50) but get less investigation & treatment, leading to a poorer prognosis. We must close this urgent care gap.

A new study from Manchester Breast Centre shows ulipristal acetate – a drug used on the NHS – could prevent breast cancer in pre-menopausal women with high genetic risk.

This could lead to non-invasive prevention strategies, offering hope to thousands.
