Wayne Lemon, who was a writer/producer on it (and the morphed "Almost Home.") visited my screenwriting class at Michigan in 1992 or 1993. He was friends with Jimmie Reeves who taught the class.

Marlon Riggs had a great discussion of Julia in his Documentary "Color Adjustment." (which is fantastic even given its 1992 VHS quality.)

Slow Death (#7 I think) included Jaxson's horrifying but powerful "Nits Make Lice." I had to censor some of the panels when I taught it in a class on Western Literature.

Even though a paper bag would have been a better actor than Dylan, I love the scene with Katy Jurado and Slim Pickens (and Knockin' on Heaven's door) as a callback to classic westerns.

Well, the Japanese aren't exactly known for their taste in US/UK/Canada bands (Spinal Tap reunited to tour there after "Sex Farm" charted.). So you probably missed some.
