If you're using AI tools that are trained on your own illustrations to help your workflow, that's great. If you're using AI tools that are trained on someone else' art without their consent, you're no longer doing art, you're doing theft. If it's not consensual, it's exploitative.
Unlike AI, real artists take inspiration from art and then infuse that with their own experiences and identity to create something new and unique. AI can't do that because AI doesn't have an identity to infuse anything with. AI can only take.
