After a lot of work… most of it done by my husband Danny… the lantern is designed. I love it. Now that he finished the laser cutting… I have work to do: staining, paper backing, assembly. Super excited to see how this all turns out.

Progress continues. I consider the tree complete (and I love it). My husband is helping with the next part of this piece… so now I’m waiting on him. More details soon (I hope 😂)

I am absolutely in love with how this turned out. Roughly an hour and a half for each panel. But worth the effort for the effect it achieved.

Working on a lantern design. It’s taking way longer than expected since I’m gluing several different colored papers this time instead of a single color. Loving the progress. But this prototype may end up being the only one I make.
