❗THE RESOLUTION HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY CONSENSUS ❗Prep-Com to meet between 2026 and 2027, Conference to convene for 3 weeks in early 2028 and 3 weeks in 2029

Preparatory Committee to meet in January 2026 and again in 2027

A new draft resolution has been tabled, which takes on board some of the amendments proposed by Russia&co. THE conference of plenipotentiaries will meet for 3 weeks in early 2028 and 3 weeks in early 2029, with an additional session if necessary.

The meeting resumed now, but informal consultations are still ongoing. The decision on agenda item #CAH is postponed again. A decision will be taken by the end of today's afternoon session.

The meeting will resume at 3 pm EST. Crimes Against Humanity will be the first agenda item to be discussed upon resumption.
