okay weird - I tried it on my laptop and it just isn't a thing for me? I can pan around with two-finger gestures, but zooming and rotating need keyboard shortcuts
I guess there's a setting for it?

I might be misunderstanding, but the rotation with the R shortcut? It's used all the time in digital art to make it easier to draw a line at certain angles, but I never knew there was a trackpad gesture for it lol
