Bluesky hack, if you go to my profile and click on the video tab you can ignore all my bullshit and just look at Tortoise videos. There's nothing else there, it's turtles all the way down. 🙌🐢
Kinda want to hear Kneecap remixes of Christie Moore Classics: If they come in the morning, I wish I was back home in Derry and, in particular, Listanvarna.

Absolutely wild that I'm being advertised cannabis in the UK on YoutTube.

One point that I feel is missing from the discussion on Epstein et al. is that whilst yes abuse permeates culture and both the rich and poor carry out and facilitate abuse, it would fundamentally be less likely for rich and powerful people to get away with this shit if our society was less unequal.

I liked Battlestar Galactica at the time it was first released (20 years ago 😬) but in retrospect I find it hard to enjoy a show who's core textual message was that there are situations where the entire apparatus of the state must be subsumed by the military.

Tortoise is up. 🐢💚

If I were King of the News I'd ban vox pops. Like, it is not the role of the national news to tell me what what Kirsty or Frank from Stoke think about a complex geopolitical issue or profound scientific development.

We literally have social media for that now.

Looks like it's going to be cold this week - 0 degrees*, better find my hat.

*Celsius for those of you inculcated in the cult of freedom units

A way to grift the raw egg/milk people just occurred to me: raw cake. It's just cake mixture in a bowl.

Close encounter of the tortoise kind. 🐢👀

I feel like much of our current political discourse is the equivalent of some guy in the pub yelling 'put it in the mixer' at the TV two minutes into added time.

My tortoise appears to be malfunctioning. 🐢😅🤔

: The government should give people who buy houses money so they can spend more on houses.
: So what do you again?
: Oh, me? I sell houses

Entering the War on Christmas on the side of my Catholic dad doesn't put the damn tree up until a week before Christmas and he's damn right to do so.

(you do you ofc, but like the actual conservative position on the Christmas should be that it's too commercial and stats too early)

Odd how the same people who demand migrants immigrate are the same ones who think they should have to wait longer to become citizens. Almost like the entire thing is merely and exercise in callously expressing dominance of a group deemed to be 'inferior'.

I'd be really interested in how the polling for the specific question: "Should Starmer continue as PM or be replaced?" would play out. I have this feeling that whilst he is very unpopular there isn't actually a great appetite to replace him.

Caught in the act.

I do think that peak Star Trek is TNG Season 6. There's lots of other good Star Trek but for me there's parts of TNG where it's just the best serialised Science Fiction of all time. Just the perfect blend of sincere, camp and introspective.

Rule of law conservatives have lost any and all credibility, their system is nothing but a racket to protect the privileges and excess of wealthy elites and to beat upon us for expressions of solidarity and resistance. There is no justice for the working classes but revolutionary justice. 🏴

You there, peasant! Bring me some food.

There are two great tragedies when you're self employed: Too much work and not enough work.

Also people just no paying you after you've done the work.
