Oh, I could post an entire thread just on this deck, and I didn't even play it 😂

Its a slow start deck, since it needs time to build up some froslass damage; that ends up being its weakness. It doesnt have a great way to slow down the game other than budew or mimikyu/neutral zone; Baby dengo clears

Overall, happy with the run, even though it ended with me still yet to win a cup 😅

Deck feels really good as-is; I might consider cutting the 3rd Arven, but not sure what to put in yet (maybe 2nd stretcher)

So happy to finally be out of this format in 2 weeks

Hitting all the fire decks caught up with me 😅

Game 1 I got hit with the Wellspring Mask Ogerpon to KO both Gimmighouls on turn 2, and couldn't recover

Game 2 was much closer, but they got the first 2 prize KO and just set the tempo from there

Top 4: WLW vs. Ho-oh Armarouge

Insane set, still not sure how I won
Game 1 They missed Charcadet for a turn
Game 2 just fell behind
Game 3 was a prize race; our last turns before time were probably 2 minutes combined

Best plan was to go 2-2-2 if ahead, or use baby dengo to KO Chi-Yu if behind

Top 8: WLT-W vs. Lycanroc Froslass

This was a new deck from one of the regulars, and holy f*ck it was sick

I found the best counter was baby dengo's surf back to KO munkis, to avoid froslass/spike energy

Went to sudden death (new time rules 🙄), but Dengo is just far better at taking early prizes

Round 5: Win vs. Cynthia's Garchomp

Pretty dominant match thanks to opponent prizing 2 of their 3 Gabite, and their 3rd Gible. They managed to get to a Garchomp, but I extended for the 8 energy KO and managed it; they scooped immediately
