I moved to Tucson just a few months ago. I love the lizards on our patio and have watched them grow from Spring to now. And I love your nature posts.

I totally agree! He wrote three of my favorite novels, beautiful and hilarious, about transcendent spirit and human nobility. His political stances are bleakly realpolitik and always seem to me to be the opposite of that. But I’d reread those novels any time. (Winter’s Tale, SotGW, F&F!)
