I like how they don't have a system to auto self destruct. The idea apparently being that it's better to have a 99% chance of going somewhere blowing up and maybe killing people than to give up the 1% chance it still somehow finds a way to work.

Bingo right on time. The NYT Ukr/Ru coverage team has been heavily penetrated by pro Russians. As has the editorial team. They know that this article/headline will give pro-Ru admin officials the rope to hang Rubio out to dry in front of Trump.

to do damage control. Thus the weird behavior like calling pro Ukr senators in the GOP and walking back the hard line / saying the plan came from Russia, while Vance tries to distract back to domestic issues and paint Zelensky as ungrateful etc. Sacks is definitely on Russian money.

IMO Vance is on the Russian payroll, and is (successfully) working along with witkoff to box out Rubio and Kellogg who are Ukraine sympathetic. Driscoll got appointed envoy or something. Trump seems to want negotiators that he can literally just order around directly, including to lie. Rubio trying

He was killed by the Russians under Kruschev. Oswald killed by terminally ill CIA agent Jack Ruby to prevent him from testifying as LBJ's government felt it would lead to nuclear war. Crazy that all the details are right there in the Warren Commission report and people just choose to believe other.

She's only doing it because Russia wants to pressure Trump with the Epstein Kompromat. They're trying to hang him out to dry so they can put their man JD Vance in the seat and betray NATO, or else turn up the heat so high that he turns around and surrenders Kyiv. She is, in fact, a traitor.

I don't know why this isn't more obvious to everyone but they're attacking trump for supporting Ukraine - they work for Russia and they're not loyal to trump, he's just a vehicle. Marge Greene instantly pivoted to center and Massie etc all turned on him hard as soon as he canceled the Putin summit.

At a certain point everyone in the war needs to draw a hard line between things that hurt but help winning, and things that just hurt. It is helpful to the war effort for you to not worry about stuff you can't personally fix. Focus on what you can and otherwise try to get away from it. If going away

To be fair they fucking hate Boko Haram and are mainly Christian and he's framing it as protecting Christians from Boko Haram. It could play well if they don't just strafe Lagos and if they work in a semblance of coordination with the national government. Big ifs these days however.
