I don't understand this criticism of CA Prop 50 in that it "didn't have a person on the ballot".

When I voted last Tuesday, there were 17 Municipal Propositions, and one Statewide.

Nary a human among them.

Props are often not about people, rather authorizing - or not - future spending.

Pubs don't want to subsidize already enormously wealthy insurance companies.

Fair point.

But neither do they want to reign in the extortion so lhealth care would be actually affordable.

Doctors and patients in the room, yes.

Insurance adjustors in there with them, no.

Single payer, anyone?

Go figure.

You know we live in a great country when the people living in the seat of capitalism trust a socialist to govern them.

Feaux Noose "Gender Gap" blue team win explanation:

Females were approximately 48% vs 44% turnout for the guys.

The winners percentage in all cases was substantially higher.

Back to you, Chet.

Everyone knows there's a right way and a wrong way to do things.

Too bad many also believe wrong = left.

The overwhelmingly approved U.S. Constitution's 28th Amendment, requiring all Federal officials to tell the truth, ensured many government workers would be forced to resign.

Whether or not said workers actually paid attention to the will of the People has yet to be determined.

Some folk are just naturally the center of attention.

Others seem to keep having people die around them; they're tknown as the center of attrition.

Admin SBA, Chief of Staff, DNI, Dir. CIA, Education, Energy, EPA, HUD, Justice, OMB, Trade Rep., and VP have yet to come on board.
