It's... fine. It feels like Burnout Paradise made on a budget. It's a game I'll chip away at.
The map is way bigger than Paradise but also way emptier. I tried doing some multiplayer challenges with a friend and getting to the meet up spot to start the challenge took a lot longer than the challenge

The design is pretty uninteresting (I think the black one looks better, but not a lot), but I've heard great things about that controller and plan on picking one up soon.

These companies sure do have a different definition of what it means to let end users opt out than I do.
If I have to go in and manually switch the resolution each time I load up a new video as it looks like from that article, I don't really consider that a proper opt-out.

There are labelers and block lists and such that are user controlled so it's probably that. People can subscribe to those lists and have people with those labels muted or blocked if they wish, but it's not a thing being done by the platform itself.

I feel like a few years ago there was a two week or so span where it seemed like the genre might take off and I assume these are all projects that were greenlit during that time and are just now coming out because game development takes forever.

It makes every day better. I was listening to it on my drive to the office today and my vinyl copy is currently out for delivery.

I think they’ll still make a new living room box that’s essentially just going to be this Ally thing but in box instead of handheld form.

I’ve been primarily an Xbox player for over 20 years now and this is ultimately what’s driving me away.
It feels like they’re fully focused on Windows as the future of their ecosystem and I buy consoles specifically because I have zero patience for any of this when I sit down to play games.
