Covering the cost of inflation with those revenues? I payed more for gas in Oregon than I do in BC. That is a first btw, and I am 52 for reference. Covering the cost of lost tourism? Fewer tourists are traveling to the US; last months estimate was 8 billion thusfar. Not sure how this will reconcile

It is already almost a Technical recession; the difference between the last time? Well last time is was Biden, Bidenomics worked. Trumponomics? I will make up some numbers or fire people who tell me numbers I don’t like. This has been hard to watch, even harder when you see it coming.

Any tourist, apparently anyone on their way to their appointment to become a US citizen. Tourism was 2.36 trillion in revenue last year; roughly 9% of the GDP. Who does this without thinking of the cost. I guarantee tourists no longer feel safe in the US.

I agree with your sentiment. Funny thing Carney suggests lowering Federal tax by 1%, in addition to eliminating the carbon tax, in addition to reneging on a 16% capital gains increase; and PP copies him, campaigning on lowering the Federal rate by 2.5%. PP only mentioned relief after Mark Carney did
