I use ETF-sweet (Entity Textures Features) and sodium on fabric instead of Optifine.
As I uderstand mods makers are not that affected (becase they are using API anyway) as the mods loaders are, the reason is the dictonaries will be no longer needed and there will be need of the code to be reworked
