Eyeball Surgery#1 complete, in bed cuddling Harvey.
During was like end of 2001 A Space Odyssey, psychedelic visions & felt going to die.
Saw ok after, now only laser afterimages, diffuse special effects. Disturbing but normal? Wearing cyberpunk eyegear for week then do again in 2 weeks, other eye.

Big winter storm about to hit what appears (on the radar map) to be most of the USA, thanks to a polar vortex driving south. Here in LFK we're expecting 8-12" of snow and a quarter inch of ice, plus 45mph winds. Prep for power outages, folks!

Just arrived! Unboxed and assembled, weighs about 80 pounds, ready for the incoming Astro-Tech 152mm (6") f/8 triplet apo refractor - my dream setup.
