People in the service industry deserve a livable wage. Their job is no less than anybody else's. These corporations are making billions of dollars and they can easily pay their employees better than they do.

Unfortunately, Carney is actually a liberal conservative. He is what the old conservative party was. But he was the lesser of two evils when it came down to the election. Unfortunately the federal NDP didn't have the strength to carry the party forward. Not sure what has happened since Layton died.

Another election would have been such a huge waste of money. I guess I'm a dreamer because if it hadn't, I would have liked to have seen both sides sit down and work out a co-budget. What a novel thought, eh. I'm glad the budget passed. Tired of all the political BS.

I don't believe for a minute that Epstein died by suicide. I think those two guards that were supposedly the only ones around were paid handsomely to do the job.

Trump didn't need Congress to let those files go. He has the authority to do it himself and he didn't. He's still playing the game. Putting the onus on the house.

The climate deniers will be the death of thousands of people. For those people who say there's always climate change, yes there is. Not at the accelerated rate at which it is today. The fast-paced occurrence we are witnessing will not allowing time for adaptation. Fact.

Sorry, harsh, I know. The global black mark being left by your government will be very difficult to erase. I have friends in the states who I worry about on a daily basis. I really hope your current election wins are an indication of change. If you have elections in 2026.

People who voted for Trump and the Republicans that are currently in office have zero right to complain. They were all quite happy to watch everybody else suffer. Now that it's affecting them they're upset? Oh. Well🤷♀️
