Really pleased to have been in Manchester for ENO’s launch event. It’s been a rocky road for ENO (and #opera in the UK) and I wish them success. A warm welcome from all & Mayor Andy Burnham likened the journey to a RomCom. Here’s to a joyous & successful collaboration

Ha! Fat chance. Now I’m even more traumatised.
Lesley Manville was simply astonishing. Mark Strong was riveting. Definitely a must-see for 🎭 in London.
