Hi Simon, we're developing an online clickable map of sites/ buildings/locations in Wolverhampton and the surrounding local area linked to LGBT History, including protests, gay clubs and bars, meeting places of support groups etc. Not available yet but to be launched in LGBT History Month hopefully

Which made my cataloguing a whole lot easier. She recently passed away so I can pay tribute to her and highlight this collection as one of her lasting legacies. Plus teach them a bit of archival theory on the way...

A collection of material from a local activist and social reformer. The original order is... mess. Boxes and boxes of scrappy bits of paper in illegible handwriting. One of our long standing volunteers patiently and painstakingly went through all 42 boxes listing every scrap and sorting into themes

We were only talking today about users ordering up hundreds of items during a day - I never really thought about the connection with the fact that they can just take photos of things, rather than sit and read through everything. Fascinating
