I have always viewed the fight for feminism defending the right of women (AND men) to be independent professionals, married homemakers, or whatever else they want to make of their lives. Which means I'm in favor of letting people do the "tradwife" thing if they want to. (continued)

The truth is, when I hear an influencer -- or a friend or colleague -- say the words "I was wrong" I do NOT lose trust in them. In fact, my trust INCREASES when I hear those words.

I think that many on the right have stopped treating statements as true or false, reasonable or unreasonable, ethical or unethical -- instead paying attention only to the direction of the sentiment.

I find it deplorable: to me, meaning what you say is sacred.

Donald Trump genuinely believes he is King of the US, not President. I can't really blame him. He is a doddering old man who is surrounded by sycophants telling him so, and also SCOTUS and parts of Congress seem to agree.
