Made it through New York harbor on the boat today. Always so neat to see the sights from the water!

Yup that was the last coat. It’s not perfect but you have to get REALLY close to see the small number of air bubbles

Been a bit delayed in posting but here are some updated pictures of the electrical upgrade. Most of the wiring is in place but still needs to be organized / tied down. Was able to power on the BMS and the 48-12 DC-DC Converters as well as get the inverters programmed.

Coat #12 is on my burgee pole. I think this will be the last one. Will see how it dries up in a day or so.

I made a box! Electrical upgrade project is about to get underway. Made this box out of starboard for the new LiFePO4 battery bank.

Last night my security camera caught the exact moment there was lightening outside. Pretty wild.

Got my live dashboard working that pulls all the sensor data off my NMEA network. Really nice to have the flexibility of Grafana to display that versus a MFD. Still need to add in my wet exhaust temp monitor. Then will move to setup alarming. Also got Timezero working on my iPad which is nice.

Join Michelle and I for our talk! If nothing else you'll get to geek out on some of the cool technical problems we need to solve when building / launching new AWS regions. And there are a good supply of cat pictures in my slides.

Also interesting is boy howdy does rendering even something simple require some CPU horsepower. My desktop is a 9th gen i9. This pegged all CPUs. For fun I tried it on a c7i.24xl (96 vCPU). That wasn't able to peg all CPUs but sure came close. That went 5-10x faster. Fun.

Turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks. Learned just enough AutoCAD Fusion360 to create a 3D Model of my battery bank / box. 2P16S LiFePO4 628Ah -> 34kwh of electricity. Amazing.
