btw I thought this was hilarious, very clever M. Cattelan! There is also more here than meets the eye. Very biting critique of the art system at the moment.

Agreed. It is also another step in the 'art historical' march of modernist and contemporary art towards towards meaninglessness. Although Duchamp is ahead of Cattelan by a hundred years. The comedian had great promotion and timing, the ephemeral nature of the fruit added a lot to the gag.

Thanks Uncanny Valleys, if it went by effort for sure. The seed image took a little while to sort out in zbrush. I suppose you could just use a photo, but I had the start of this from back in 2019. so I just got busy.
