She is an inspiration and a dedicated public servant. Instead of tearing her down, we should all be celebrating her leadership and the progress her election represents. Let her do her damn job!

Sarah McBride made history as the first openly transgender person elected to Congress, and she’s already making a difference.

Let me be crystal clear, I’d let my child share a bathroom with Sarah McBride any day before I’d let them anywhere near Donald Trump or Matt Gaetz—two proven sexual predators. If they are so concerned about safety, maybe they should start by addressing the predators in their own ranks.

Furthermore, it has never been about bathrooms. It’s always been about transphobia. The GOP has ZERO problem targeting trans people while ignoring actual threats to public safety.

Yet, instead of allowing her to focus on her work, she’s ALREADY being targeted with petty, hateful attacks over where she pisses.
