We were among around 5000 people at a “Hands Off” rally today in Lansing MI. Great to see such a great turnout—but, where do we go from here? We need leadership & direction.

Deep into WWII this week. Reading “Road to Surrender,” remembering Glenn Miller’s (right) birthday today, and my dad (left) a Navy man. Miller was brilliant, lost his life fighting for freedom. Dad survived. What would they make of Ukraine and a U.S. president’s attack on democracy?

Inauguration Day 1/20/17 Noon. Trump is being sworn in and I’m waiting for a mammogram, wearing mask (immune deficiency) and pussy hat. See my thyroidectomy scar and determination in my eyes. 8 years later—I’m still here with more scars and determination. We’ll need that the next 4 years and beyond.
