This somewhat reduces the traversal stutter in dead space (but has other issues like texture streaming)
Maybe microSD express or ssd via USB 3.0 would be the "slowness" sweet apot lol

Emulation via ShadPS4 is in such a good state now (with mods) that you can get the pc experience right now (including the occasional crash lmao)
