Whilst the majority of MBT trustees are in France for annual pilgrimage commemorating the 1st day of the Battle of the Somme; other trustees will be laying a wreath outside the Usher Hall, at the McCrae's Battalion memorial plaque at 11am on July 1st, with a few words from our padre Peter Sutton 🖤

The Battle of the Somme ended 108 years ago today. This is Grandcourt Road Cemetery which contains a number of casualties from the Battle of the Ancre, the last major Allied offensive of the campaign. #FWWHistory #WW1
