Spending freeze was a gift to dems. Glad it’s resented for so many that were impacted but maybe if they had gone another week it might have done even more damage to the Reps.

It takes 60 votes to get disaster relief legislation out of the US Senate. If Trump and the republicans hold off disaster relief for LA , Senator Schumer should announce no Democratic votes for a future hurricane or wildfire disaster relief legislation in a red state.
