At the time probably thought he had what it took. He’ll be off the books this year. At least with DeVito this will give him a chance to prove himself as a viable backup. Yes, I think they overplayed Lock though.

The thing that concerns me is if Daboll is this great QB guru he’s portrayed to be, then how did he miss that bad on Lock and then Schoen WAY overpaid for him?

I agree. I don’t understand all the hatred. The streaming part was an issue, but other than that I was entertained.
