NWS: $4.01 (included under NOAA)
Department of Defense: $2,424.41
I think I know the best place to work on shrinking the budget, and it's not destroying NOAA/NWS. I feel absolutely awful for my fellow meteorologists who lost their dream jobs yesterday :(

Buffalo, NY, dropped to -5°F this morning, ending a record-long streak without falling below zero. The last time the low temperature was in the negatives was just short of six years ago.
