In wake of Faith Ringgold's passing, thinking of her 1970 arrest for organizing People's Flag Show, exhibition meant to challenge laws on flag desecration. Her poster for show reads in part: "Artists, workers, students, women, third world peoples: You are oppressed; what does the flag mean to you?"
