Yesterday, Electra and Tyler connected with entrepreneurs, job seekers, and economic development leaders at the State's Clinics at the Capitol. This event provided support for job seekers, resources for entrepeneuers, and information on workforce development grants and programs.

The legislature adjourned on Monday, May 19th, without completing all of their work. There are still several bills that need to be negotiated and finalized related to the environment, health, education, workforce development, and more.

Today in the Senate, MN small business owners Esther Obaigwa and Kari Tribble testified in support of the Small Business Assistance Partnership Bill. This bill, authored by Sen. Susan Pha, will allocate millions of dollars in funding to free small business development services.

Sen. Lindsey Port (55, DFL), was a critical leader in the 2023 effort to pass more than $1 bil. for housing. This session, she is our chief author on our HIBs bill (SF-203 - $400 mil in HIBs).
