Spent ALL YEAR building an immaculate compost. First time ever actually getting hot, steamy compost.
As spring ended, I stopped adding to the pile to let it sit and mature for ~3 months before I can safely add it to my raised beds.
Poked around in it today and it’s completely filled with roots.😑
