We're trying to avoid Amazon, Walmart, and Target. My child needs hard-soled slippers for school (because his old ones fell apart). We've been to 7 stores in two cities looking for them so far. Today, we are resorting to the forbidden stores.

Fewer park Rangers at parks like Yellowstone are going to result in citizen deaths. When we visited, Rangers would just magically pop out of the ether at a moment's notice when dumbasses decided they should approach the wildlife or wander into thermal features. That's a life-saving service, friends.

In today's legislative session, KY SB 89 came up briefly Chair Gooch indicates that he received a LOT of emails about it, but most were form emails. He goes on to say thay our congressmen tend to ignore or even intentionally vote against their constituents when they use form emails.

How dumb do you have to be to jump from TRANSgenic to TRANSgender? Next, he'll be saying that the Department of TRANSportation is making drivers transgender. Did his hair TRANSplant make him transgender?!?!

My social media is an echo chamber, and I'm aware of that. But it does mean we are ALL horrified here. So please, do something, even if it doesn't feel like "enough," even if it's really, really hard, even if you receive backlash. There is power in numbers.

Kentuckians, please call 1-800-372-7181 and vehemently oppose SB89. This bill seeks to redefine and limit the scope of "Waters of the Commonwealth." This has far-reaching impact and would weaken protections for our surface and groundwater. (1/2)
