A lot of folks are good about shoving uncomfortable things under the rug. Like that assistant coach who witnessed Jerry Sandusky abusing a kid in the Penn State showers. I’ve known families who choose to ignore the abuse happening to their children by a parent, uncle etc.

Therapist here. I wouldn’t be doing a very good job with my clients if we couldn’t talk about politics. Most of my clients don’t feel safe - their childhood and adult trauma has been activated by this administration.

I had a Pom. They’re the best! She was legendary at the art gallery where I used to work. People loved to feed her at the art openings! She once stole grapes that were part of an art installation. She crossed the rainbow bridge years ago and lives on in my heart.
