Dog Dad, husband, human dad, fan of LFC, NYM. Music and books are good. My wife wishes I would watch more tv with her. I just bought a record player, so all my disposable money goes towards buying LPs.
This is fantastic. Congratulations.

He’s the minority leader. There’s no CYA here. 10 vote yes, he’s useless as a leader. Contrast with Pelosi. When push came to shove, she got the F’n votes she needed.

Even if he manages to get them in line tonight, I’m hoping AOC is going to take him on. Her district is pretty safe for Ds and I think she’d be great taking over from him.

A decade ago if you told me I’d be doing this I’d call you a liar. But here we are, and seems I am doing this sort of thing.

Just got back from Jets game and did this. Sent messages by email while on the train too. Who knows what it does, if anything. But if Schumer can’t get them in line, he needs to step down as leader and see a legitimate primary challenge. Gillibrand can go too.

This is my wife. She was upset at having missed out on seeing him last week. He played 10 minutes from her job.

We tried that. He’s decided he wants a lifetime of sporting pain.

Rage drives engagement. Beauty and joy don’t get the same interaction. But those are the things that make life worth living. I type while sitting on a crowded NJ Transit train going to watch the NY Jets with my son and wife because our son adores them and I want him to be happy. What do I know?

He is correct, but people would get off the mat, for candidates that are wiling to stand firm, or for new ones running to drive out those who have become complacent.

I understand music, like a lot of art is subjective. That said, there is no way I would ever vote against Robert Smith & The Cure. That band and album mean too much to me for there to ever be a doubt. This album vs. anything, from any time. This album still wins.

Once again proving my theory that every team opting to wear throwbacks from when I was young (80s-90s only) should win every game.
Except for the Giants because I don’t like them. They can lose. Which they did. And since SF is the team I root for, hehehe.

MLB owners are wealthy af. Some choose to spend as much - with varying degrees of success while others milk the franchise so they can sell at a huge profit, f**k the fans (see Oakland, Pittsburgh, Miami, Colorado, etc.)
Not saying to not rethink, but to frame as a money issue is misguided.

I wasn’t much into them until maybe 15 years ago. I had a co-worker who loved them. A group of us would go to a local bar Fridays after work. Neighborhood joint with a digital jukebox we would sink an absurd amount of money into. Air Supply was played a lot. The locals did not always appreciate it.

I remember seeing those. We took a walk after the storm passed. We lived close enough to a couple of stations the lines there snaked down Old Country Rd.

I remember that storm. It was days before we were going to have my son’s first birthday party. Two weeks later we finally did.
I told my wife not to worry about putting gas in the cars before the storm. She ignored me. Very wise on her part.

Oof. That is long. Lotte NY is in the 50s on the east side, so easy to get to both Yankee Stadium and Citi Field.

I think most use the same hotels. In NYC almost all use the Lotte Palace NY right by St. Patrick’s in Midtown. I walk past it on my way to work. Whenever there are getaway day games I see the team buses outside with players getting on. Last two the timing was right were the A’s and Phillies.

For me, it’s always going to start and end with Common People. But on any random day the ones that will get me (in no particular order) are Mis-Shapes, I Spy and Feelingcalledlove. That the last one is always in the set list makes me happy.

Mayo are most definitely not alone in that. If he could give food analysis of the game it’d be a better argument for why he’s there. But he doesn’t so it’s annoying to have to put up with him when there are better ex ball players they could put in that role.

Yeah, regular price is definitely expensive. I wouldn’t have paid for it without a deal. Also if I remember you can only get one language at first, but the deal they had at the time gave all of them.

Or until they make no more money and shut the app down. But o e already had it for two years at less than one year of duo, so not bad from a $ perspective.

Babel is pretty good. More logical for learning basic conversation. If you hold off until Black Friday you can get a deal on the app for all languages. I did that and then a week or so later they ran a deal for a lifetime subscription. For the price I paid for one year of duo, I have Babel forever.
