So if they leave off one part in Canada or Mexico (say an interior trim piece) ship it to the US and then add that one part in the US, does that count as being finished in the US?

It’s not 7 months buyout, it’s 7 months of continuing to work with salary and then no more job after September. No mention of severance pay in the offer. The only “perk” is you can continue to wfh until you’re done.

I still recall the story (from a 30 in 30 I think) where he got a million dollar signing bonus cheque and he framed it and put it on the wall and didn’t actually cash it. Eventually the team accountants told him he needed to cash it, otherwise it might have been up there forever.

Maybe start with just being able to swap next-up and on-deck batters once per game per team. In a key situation where a lesser guy is coming up, you get to use the guy batting right behind him instead. It’s on the manager if his lineup has too many poor hitters in a row…
