This happens in California state prisons. A company called PIA makes various items. Desks. Office furniture. Dorm furniture. They get a very low wage, between .25-1 per hour. This is higher wage than other prison jobs.

If Israel were to annex Gaza those people were to become Israeli citizens, they would be able to vote and change the political structure of the kennesett. That would be more detrimental to the Jewish state than just having the Palestinians still in Gaza. Not sure what bibi will do.
